I have to print wage envelopes (fan fold) on a tractor driven printer. There are two envelopes per A4 page. The wage info is processed for each individual on a separate spreadsheet sheet. Using the normal print action would print only every other wage envelope and waste a lot of paper. On the face of it, it should be a simple exercise to direct the printer to print two sheets per A4 page. Now there are a lot of options for printing more than one sheet per page, but it is done in newspaper column fashion and how to print the one sheet in A4 half page format and the other one just below, is not so simple (to find). One of the few links to address the issue is found here - the solution is well hidden at the bottom of the article. The solution is for OpenOffice, but OpenOffice and Libre Office, for now, are very similar. Here are the bare bones of the solution:
