I am not really a cat man but find myself having two as pets. Perhaps they keep me as a pet. Switching between cat food brands, I discovered one they absolutely avoid like the plague. What could be so vile about that one? I repented just in time because they would have starved to death. Even the regular mouse dish (self-served) does not seem to keep their condition up. Perhaps one should report the offending brand to the SPCA because it really, really must be the pits.

Cats can be very particular about food.
Ours will eat nothing other than 'Whiskas' pellets. Not even real cooked or raw meat. Apart from the occasional mouse or pigeon. Piece of chicken? Nope.
There is probably nothing wrong with the stuff your cats won't eat - they're just like that.

What I don't understand that their preferences coincide with the more expensive brands. In our case it is Catmor which admittedly is not in the same range as Whiskas, but lower priced food they don't eat. It also so happens that the two cats have the same preferences.
