That's why I'm usually more interested in the reader comments than in the article that prompted the comments. Often I don't even read the actual article at all.
It is because the comments are a much more accurate reflection of what people really think and feel. And the anonymity makes it possible for them to be honest about it. If I was a politician, I'd spend my time reading the comment sections all day long.
