I knew nothing about OpenAI. I vaguely associated the name with ChatGPT.
When this story surfaced I thought that Sam Altman was a victim.
Having brought myself up to date with who OpenAI is I am now fully behind the people who fired him. I hope they stand firm and don't allow the pressure to get to them. I'd not be surprised if Musk decides to help them out.
