I would also add that additionally, those who voted for Trump rejects the notion that they are in any way subject to some sort of inherited guilt, and they also reject the notion of some sort of inherited victimhood. I'd almost feel that I have discovered my natural political home, except that I'm not really a natural conservative, as 'natural conservatism' is described in the link - I do not think of conservatism as incompatible with or opposed to liberalism. But then, I'm not an American.

A very comprehensive survey of the make-up of the right.
Seems a rather motley collection of groups. I am in agreement with some trends, disagree strongly with others.
I am surprised to find an intellectual component.
I wish the Nazi and anti-gay elements were not there. While separate groupings aligns with my thinking, all should have an equal chance (this means that I do not hate any races as such).
Would be quite a job to write a comprehensive response which in the end would be likely to be but a (boring) individual testament.
