This guy is brilliant. Fathers and Grandfathers of ‘Deplorables’
He found the one single word to totally obliterate not only the Democrats but also the 'establishment'. Hillary's campaign team must curse the day they ever thought of "a basket of deplorables" as a catchy electioneering putdown.

It is amazing that it is considered PC to decry the whites who voted for Trump in such condescending way. Try this in SA with the supporters of the ANC and see how quickly you become a racist. Pearl Harbour is a mixed bag. On the historical aspect: It is said (not sure with how much truth) that it was (like 9/11) allowed to happen, to galvanise the US into the war effort. It also had a negative effect on Japanese Americans (is that the term?). They were considered security risks and faced much discrimination and hardships for years. The war effort also meant that the US became embroiled in International Affairs contrary to the prevailing Monroe doctrine. Trump apparently wants to go back to a similar situation where the US focuses mostly on its own domestic affairs. I somehow doubt that this will be possible other than by way of a shift in emphasis. The interests of the US are much too global to ignore the rest of the world in an absolute sense.
