Nah. To claim that the anti-Trump hysteria is because they are all pedofiles is just nuts.
This is the problem I have with many political groupings on the fringes: Some of them work really hard to achieve respectability, and then they destroy their credibility with something like this.
Personally, I don't think the hysteria is that great - it's just appears so extensive because it is massively overreported. The vast majority of Americans don't get reported on at all - as for instance did that majority that voted for Trump.
Secondly, the reason for the hysteria really is because those people live in fear of having their worldview exploded. Much of what they believed to be self-evidently true (and what they required of others to believe as well) is being rejected. And many of those things they decided to be outside the ambit of things that may be discussed are being ruthlessly queried, and discovered to require extensive discussion after all.
It is also true that many of them stand to lose out on huge amounts of money. And power.
In short - they are the establishment. And Trump's mission is to destroy the establishment. Of course they'll squeal.

As usual (!) I agree with much of your analysis. The challenge to a world view probably sums it up best. As for pedofillia being a driving force: It is perhaps overkill. The point was also noted in one of the comments: I for one don’t see so many pedophiles, but more of the “Misguided Revolutionaries” kind. At the same time it is difficult to evaluate the charge. The Gavin McInnis article does seem to make a case for moral degeneracy - anecdotal though. How is one to measure this? In similar vein I would note that the extent of the opposition to Trump is difficult to evaluate. It is perhaps not hysteria, but it is pervasive - even taking up much time in the conservative media.

Sorry media — this press conference played very different with Trump’s supporters
Maybe it’s not a coincidence that Barnum & Bailey is folding its tents this year. After all, how could the circus possibly compete with Donald Trump? The president proved once again that he is the greatest show on earth. Lions and tigers and elephants are kids’ stuff next to his high wire act. Next time, the White House ought to sell popcorn. Amid feverish reports of chaos on his team and with Democrats fantasizing that Russia-gate is another Watergate, Trump took center stage to declare that reports of his demise are just more fake news. Far from dead, he was positively exuberant. His performance at a marathon press conference was a must-see-tv spectacle as he mixed serious policy talk with stand-up comedy and took repeated pleasure in whacking his favorite pinata, the “dishonest media.” nypost.com/2017/02/16/sorry-media-this-press-conference-played-very-different-with-trumps-supporters/

I have problems with this report. The first problem is the statement that the US is a nation of immigrants. It has been pointed out that the immigrants came mainly from Europe - at least there is a common culture of sorts. The another is the claim that there has been no terrorism from the 7 banned countries. At least 72 CONVICTED terrorists. Link is on the forum.

I watched the press conference and it was some of the best entertainment on TV. During the campaign the press did not believe that he will keep his promises, now he is doing just that. I think the democrats are more worried that he will succeed (an immigration, Tax reform and jobs) as it will marginalize them for the next 20 years.
Der Speigel is becoming totally unhinged in the reports on Trump. They are so far removed fro reality and the best part of their reports is the comments

Trump supporters see a successful president — and are frustrated with critics who don’t... Many of President Trump’s most dedicated supporters — the sort who waited for hours in the Florida sun this weekend for his first post-inauguration campaign rally — say their lives changed on election night. Suddenly they felt like their views were actually respected and in the majority. But less than one month into Trump’s term, many of his supporters say they once again feel under attack — perhaps even more so than before. Those who journeyed to Trump’s Saturday evening event on Florida’s Space Coast said that since the election, they have unfriended some of their liberal relatives or friends on Facebook. They don’t understand why major media outlets don’t see the same successful administration they have been cheering on. And they’re increasingly frustrated that Democrats — and some Republicans — are too slow to approve some of the president’s nominees and too quick to protest his every utterance. “They’re stonewalling everything that he’s doing because they’re just being babies about it,” said Patricia Melani, 56, a Jersey native who now lives here and attended her third Trump rally Saturday. “All the loudmouths? They need to let it go. Let it go. Shut their mouths and let the man do what he’s got to do. We all shut our mouths when Obama got in the second time around, okay? So that’s what really needs to be done.” ...
