The irony is that, as far as I can tell, the people who actually build/create the models do so for perfectly valid scientific reasons, use them as such, and are extremely reluctant to apply those models to the kind of predictions made by the climate-change fascists.
The builders of the models are actual physicists/mathematicians/engineers working in fields such as fluid dynamics. It is inherently part of science to construct models based on your present understanding of things, and to test the predictions of those models against reality. In many ways, the purpose of the model is to identify how much it is that you still don't know. That is essentially what science is. And I have no doubt that these people are dismayed at the use these models are being put too. It's something like: "Look, I built this cute little suspension bridge to cross a stream, which I find useful in many ways." And then somebody comes along and tries to drive across it with a tank. More prosaically: The models are being pushed beyond the limits of their design parameters to an extent which is absurd, and not by the people who created them.
