How to Turn the Tide Against Country's Crime Wave

Greater co-operation between the police and prosecutors are called for and prosecutors need to get more actively involved in investigations. Prosecutors often are just lazy and ill-prepared for their task. One will also have to consider the emphasis put on the protection of the rights of criminals. Admittedly, this has been cemented by the ConCourt to the extent that it is difficult to undo.  Perhaps it should be realised that our society does not have the resources to render first world justice standards.
