Billions in farming insurance pay-outs weigh on US taxpayers
There is no comparative examination of weather data. The mere fact that pay-outs are up does not prove anything. Perhaps more farmers insure, perhaps they plant crops in ill-suited areas, perhaps there are more farmers (unlikely, I guess).
