And then we wonder why Africa is a mess...
MatomewabalobedubaAfrika • 20 hours ago
...But why must Afrikan students trust a book written by David Coltart ? Is the writer explaining the role of the west with their "demonic sanctions" on the country? Are we going to be told why Zimbabweans should not chose their own destiny ? How is history of the people get to be known better by someone with a sinister agenda? I think Afrikan students know their own stories and narratives they don't need another lie ....

...I have a duty to tell if someone is a liar.....
someone who was part of a satanic establishment telling people how someone who consistently tell the truth is:
tyrannical; murderous; mendacious; disingenuous; manipulative; vicious; conspiratorial; reptilian; greedy; psychopathic; cunning; dissembling; selfish; cowardly; destructive; shameful and shameless
... all these labels belong to David Coltart, he tried regime change through lies and establishing MDC and now brings up a testament...I say NO to his lies and many will see through the lies...

Yes, you are right. Mugabe is a saint and the people killed probably deserved it. Also, the economy is in great shape and the innuendo that Mugabe lost his own countries currency are lies. He just misplaced it and will find it soon.

Yes and on top of it, Murgarbage created a thriving agricultural sector where well trained, knowledgeable farmers are filling the food baskets of Zimbabwe and there is no further need to import foodstuffs and beg for help from the so-called demon's that caused all the poverty in Zimbabwe.

The North Korean trained and equipped 5th Brigade was commanded by then Col Perence SHIRI (under the direct control of his cousin MUGABE - in cahoots with MNANGAGWA and others in the Jongwe elite).
Indeed, Perence SHIRI has been well rewarded for his genocidal contribution whilst in operational command of the 5th (Gukurahundi) Brigade and, to date, has risen rapidly to the position Air Marshal, replacing TUNGAMIRAYI in 1992.... a position ensuring him a permanent seat as a member of the Joint Operations Command which exerts day-by-day control over Zimbabwe's government.
I was in Zimbabwe when the 5th Brigade was formed and its nomme de guerre was trumpeted by the state media as the "Gukurahundi Brigade" from the off. In hindsight it seems pretty clear that the genocidal cleansing of the maNdebele nation was the plan at the outset. I was also in Bulawayo on Customs & Excise business when the Entumbane kick-off happened, resulting in the closure of Bulawayo Airport, which found me stranded there for a few extra days..... so I was able to witness the first para drops, helicopter gunships, and hear the gunfire too.
It is interesting to note also, that MUGABE has later admitted to the Gukurahundi genocide..... referring to it as "that time of madness" (presumably considering a mitigatory reason of madness as being helpful in the event a war crimes tribunal might catch up with him and his JOC accomplices).
So then, by MUGABE's own admission it happened; the nation both sufferred and witnessed it; and now COTART, one of the many witnessing citizens of Zimbabwe has delivered a record of some of it to enlighten us.
My reading of the adjectives personally ascribed to the geriatric (life) President of Zimbabwe in the article above does not seem to directly attribute them to David COLTART but, rather, to the author of the above article itself - JAN RAATH.
Let us be clear on this though, to use some of the most negative personal ascriptions in the English language to explain the person & cult of Robert MUGABE variously as -
tyrannical;
murderous;
mendacious;
disingenuous;
manipulative;
vicious;
conspiratorial;
reptilian;
greedy;
psychopathic;
cunning;
dissembling;
selfish;
cowardly;
destructive;
shameful and shameless
..... - and all of these to the superlative degree, in recognition of his considerable but warped intelligence, are quite appropriate.
I have personally witnessed, experienced, and/or suffered many events in my life in Zimbabwe that fall to be described in the terms listed.
Neither RAATH, nor COLTART, nor numerous others are exagerating the evil, criminal, psychotic depravity of these events.
What is particularly sick, is that the ANCpf government of a liberated South Africa has enabled, shielded, and funded the continuation of this ongoing & organised state of atrocity purporting to be governance over the people of Zimbabwe.

Not everyone is out to dis black people pal. And you forget it's his name on the line. If his version is nonsense his reputation is ruined, and you don't spend your entire life building a reputation only to squander it yourself... unless you are a zuma.
why do you think he would lie about what everyone's been watching unfold themselves anyway?

So who would you believe ? Many of us speak to Zimbabwean refugees and their story is much as Coltarts although defined in their own personal experience .
Funny how once black Zimbabweans "got back their land" about a quarter of them promptly left the country of their birth.

The way you write I'm not sure if you can read.
You're an idiot.
Having been involved in the Rhodesian bush war flying for the SAP I saw first hand many atrocities including the shooting down of a air Rhodesia passenger Viscount aircraft and then the butchering and raping of surviving passenger by terrorists.
Those same people have run the show for many years.
Once the breadbasket of Africa, now a rotting smelly disaster.
Too bad Mugabe will never survive to face a war crimes tribunal in The Hague.

Why don't you read the book first, then make up your mind. Too quick off the mark, which does your credibility no good... Education broadens the mind and your perspective on other people's views. Suggest you take a deep breath, buy the book, read it, then comment, failing which, your comments are worthless as a fart in the wind...
