I try to post news items relating to a the same event or topic in the same thread. It can be fairly time consuming as sometimes threads of years ago have to be located. The search engine in this quest is indispensable. As of late I have much difficulty in finding topics of even a few months ago. I am sometimes not even sure whether they have disappeared. I also wonder from time to time whether in fact some topics are deliberately suppressed.
Long story short: I am forced to resort to unconnected posts. A pity, because linking subsequent posts is one of the few ways I try to add value to this enterprise.
Sometimes, I have to point out, it becomes virtually impossible to link all posts on a topic together in a sensible way. An example of this are the Hunter Biden and Trump soap operas playing out in the US. Trump, in particular, has numerous court battles in different States (apart from his Presidential bid). However, all these stories ultimately tie together as a sustained attempt is made to sink his Presidential bid in all these matters. Just saying...
